From the people of the clouds, Gedicht von Erika Burkart

That are in the sky,

whose profiles read

as a story without words,

soon to be clear, then blurry,

like lettering, fleetingly noted,

they drive, they fly,

I look after them

addressed, as reported

People with a steep gradient,

Animals from another earth time.

they lay, rest backwards, they drive

a head without a body, float,

dreamlessly apathetic-

I look after them, forget them,

before they dissolve, transformed

already blow over one of me

strange landscape,

Nameless ones

From the people of the clouds.
