One of the most confusing things for me is, that I shut people up, if my speeches to them are meant as an invitation to counter-speech and assent.
I expect or wish, that XY is talking to me, but I will see to it beforehand with a certain exclusivity of my consent, that I would like a response from him/her—- but mostly on his part, haha————— nip in the bud.
Why?
To take the wind out of our sails?
